It will also provide low premium insurance cover to the farmers so that they can sustain even if the yield is damaged. Sharma appealed to the farmers that this Yojna will protect the farmers from risks and vagaries of the climate and further he said that the main motto of this new crop insurance scheme is to provide a more efficient insurance support to the farmers of the country which will become a support to thousands of farmers.
